Our door-to-door delivery service covers the majority of urban areas in South Africa.
How much does delivery cost?
Our delivery charge is calculated based on the product(s) you are purchasing and your delivery address. In your cart, you can get a shipping quote. By entering your town and based on the products in your cart, your shipping cost will be calculated. It is not essential to get a shipping quote in your cart, you will get a shipping quote by going through the checkout process as well. Our rates are very competitive and are directly from our courier company, Fastway. As our products are shipped from Gauteng, our Gauteng customers as well as other major cities will receive the best prices. We do not add a markup on the shipping cost, we want you to receive the product at your doorstep for the cheapest possible price.
We also do not offer free shipping, as we believe there is no such thing as ‘free’ delivery – if free shipping is offered by a company be aware that the cost of shipping is most likely incorporated into the product price. By offering delivery the way we do, no client is disadvantaged and the delivery charge is merely passed onto you, based on where you live. Please note that shipping is priced according to the town you live in and the volumetric size of the products purchased. For a full list of the towns serviced in South Africa please refer to the Shipping Quote tool in your cart. At the moment, Tanc does only delivery within the boundaries of South Africa. How will I know when my order will be delivered?
Once your order is ready to be delivered, you will receive an email with the delivery details. You will be able to track your delivery using the tracking code provided on your invoice. You will be notified via email as to when your package is on its way for delivery. This way you can make sure someone is home when you have been told the package is scheduled to arrive. You are required to ensure that you or an authorised person shall be in attendance at the delivery address and that appropriate access will be made available. Any person other than yourself who receives your goods at the delivery address is conclusively presumed to be authorised to accept delivery on your behalf. Any such person must sign and print his/her name on a POD. Should no-one be in attendance at the time of delivery, the driver will retain the goods and you will get an email to inform you of the delivery failure and a phone call from the Fastway to set a second delivery time and day.
What will I receive upon delivery?
On delivery of the goods to the specified delivery address, you will receive your goods and copy of the waybill. Please see your accounts for your order details.
Can I choose a specific time when my package will be delivered?
Unfortunately, we are unable to schedule deliveries at requested times of day. This allows our drivers to plan delivery runs that most efficiently reach all our customers.
Change of delivery details
If you need to change a delivery date or the delivery address, please contact our Customer Service Team at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery date.
